As a Cinematographer & Director, I strive to contribute a subjective perspective drawn from my own lived experience.

I grew up between two worlds, Samoan on my mother’s side and Chaldean / Indigenous Iraqi on my fathers. For most of my life, I’ve called New Zealand home. Existing between cultures has shaped the way I see and move through the world, fostering an enduring curiosity about identity, belonging, and our relationship to place.

That curiosity has taken me across the world. From working as an international flight attendant to winning Discovery’s First Global Intern competition across 10 countries in 2016, I spent my early twenties travelling extensively before realising a lifelong dream of living in New York and working with Beautiful Destinations.

Today my work spans commercial, documentary and narrative filmmaking, often at the intersection of culture, identity, and place.
