As a Cinematographer & Director, I strive to contribute a subjective perspective drawn from my own lived experience.

I grew up between two worlds, Samoan on my mother's side and Chaldean on my father's. For most of my life, I've called New Zealand home. Existing between cultures has shaped the way I see and move through the world, always trying to better understand identity, belonging, and our relationship to nature and each other.

That curiosity has taken me across the world. From working as an international flight attendant to winning Discovery's First Global Intern competition across 10 countries in 2016, I spent my early twenties travelling extensively before realising a dream of working with Beautiful Destinations as a key creative in New York City.

Since 2024, I have been working on my directorial debut short documentary, 'Keepers of the Afi,' a return to the initial questions of heritage that inspired me to pick up a camera in the first place. The film is currently beginning its festival circuit, seeking its World Premiere in 2027.

Today my work spans documentary, commercial, and narrative filmmaking, often at the thread which connects culture and place.
